The Monthly Road Manager's Report will be posted on this website homepage as well as on Town noticeboards.The Community is encouraged to contact the Road Manager and/ or the Mayor regarding road issues. They may also address the Council during the Public Comments section at the Monthly Council Meetings. Or submit a Road Suggestion form  found on the website Documents/ Forms.

Dirt Roads 

The Town of Castle Valley is responsible for the maintenance of all of the dirt roads and related drainages within the Town's borders and for the signage for these roads.

The Castle Valley Town Council had designated a Roads Committee to provide direction and set priorities for the maintenance of the Town's roads and related drainages within the framework of the Town's annual budget. This designation was required back when the Mayor was also the Roads Manager . 

9.21.2022 Ordinance 2022-1  terminated the Road Committee. Since then the Road Manager meets regularly with the Mayor to discuss road issues and priotities. The Town Council  will periodically review Roads personeel jobs description and project priorites . The Town Council  approves all major personnel actions and the road budget. The Roads Department Manager manages both Town-employed road workers and outside contractors to do the road work.

The Roads Department Manager determines for residents the sizing of culverts that they may wish to install in their driveway entrances. The property owner pays for the culvert & upon request, the Town will clear out culverts that require maintenance that are within Town's road easements.

Castle Valley Drive
