The Monthly Road Manager's Report is presented at every regular monthly Town Council meeting, and becomes part of the permanent record. (The prior Road Committee was dissolved in 2022; those records are available at the Town Office.)

Residents are encouraged to contact the Roads Manager and/or the Mayor regarding road issues. They may also address the Council during the Public Comments section at monthly Council meetings, or submit a Road Suggestion form.

Dirt Roads
The Town of Castle Valley is responsible for the maintenance and signage of all of the dirt roads and related drainages within the Town's borders. Winter maintenance is limited on some roads near Porcupine Rim.

The Road Manager meets regularly with the Mayor to discuss road issues and priorities. The Town Council will periodically review Roads personnel jobs description and project priorites. The Town Council  approves all major personnel actions and the road budget. The Roads Manager oversees both Town-employed road workers and outside contractors engaged in road work.

The Roads Manager determines the sizing of culverts that residents install in their driveway entrances, and issues permits for work done in the road easement/right of way. The property owner pays for the culvert. On request, the Town will clear out culverts that are within Town's road easements.

Castle Valley Drive
Castle Valley Drive is a Castle Valley Town road. The Town is responsible for surface maintenance; winter plowing is done by Grand County.
